Merge PDF Files

Add two or more PDFs, put them in the right order and merge them into one file. The files stay on your device: nothing is uploaded, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and invoices.

Why merging in the browser is safer

Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers. That is a real risk for bank statements, contracts, passport scans and invoices. This tool uses pdf-lib, a JavaScript library that runs in your browser, so the files are read and joined on your own device. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.

    How to merge PDFs

    1. Click "Choose PDF files" or drag the files onto the box. You can add more files later.
    2. Use ↑ and ↓ to put them in order. The number on the left is the order in the final file.
    3. Press "Merge", then download merged.pdf. Use "Open to check" to look through it first.

    What is kept

Every page is copied as it is: text, images, page size and orientation stay the same. Bookmarks (the outline) and form fields from the separate files are not combined, which is normal for most merge tools.

    Password-protected PDFs

A PDF with an open password cannot be merged until it is unlocked. Open it in your PDF reader with the password and save or print it to a new PDF without protection, then add that copy here.

    Very large files

Because the work happens in your browser, the limit is your device's memory. Merging a few hundred pages is fine on a normal computer; on a phone, merge in smaller batches if it gets slow.

    FAQ

Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The files are processed in your browser and never uploaded to any server.
Is there a page or file limit?
No fixed limit. Only your device's memory limits very large files.
    Does it add a watermark?
No. The merged PDF contains only your pages.
Can I change the order of the pages?
You can change the order of the files with ↑ and ↓. Pages inside each file stay in their original order.
