Laravel on cPanel & Shared Hosting: The Complete Guide
Most Laravel tutorials assume a VPS with root access, Supervisor and Redis. Most small business sites in the US, UK and the Gulf actually run on cPanel shared hosting at Namecheap, Hostinger, Bluehost or GoDaddy, where none of that exists. This hub collects everything on HeadsNTail about making Laravel behave on exactly that kind of server: how the scheduler runs from a cPanel cron, how queues work without a daemon, why emails land in spam, which .htaccess rules you need when Laravel is not in the document root, and how to fix the errors that appear only on shared hosting.
Every guide here comes from running real Laravel applications (an HR and payroll system, business websites) on cPanel for years, not from a sandbox. Start with the three "start here" guides, then use the tools when you need a migration from an existing SQL table, a cron line or an .htaccess file you can paste.

FAQ
Can Laravel run on shared cPanel hosting?
Yes. You need PHP 8.2+, Composer (run locally, upload vendor/), a cron entry for the scheduler and a queue worker started by cron. SSH is helpful but not required.
Do I need Supervisor for Laravel queues on shared hosting?
No. A cron job that runs php artisan queue:work --stop-when-empty every minute processes queued jobs and exits; Supervisor is only needed for an always-on worker on a VPS.
Why do my Laravel emails from cPanel go to spam?
Usually missing SPF/DKIM/DMARC, a From address that does not match the sending domain, or a shared IP with poor reputation. The email deliverability guide walks through the fix.
