Rotate, Delete & Reorder PDF Pages

Fix sideways scans, remove blank or extra pages and put pages in the right order, with a preview of every page. Rotation is saved as a page setting, so quality does not change. The file stays on your device.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. Choose the PDF. Every page appears as a small preview.
  2. Use ↺ or ↻ under a page to turn it 90°, or the buttons above the pages to turn all of them at once.
  3. Press ✕ to delete a page (press ↩ to keep it again) and ← → to move a page earlier or later.
  4. Press "Save PDF" and download the corrected file.

Rotating without losing quality

Every PDF page has a "rotate" setting that tells the reader to show it at 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. This tool changes only that setting. The text, images and fonts inside the page are not redrawn or compressed, so the saved file has the same quality, the text can still be searched and copied, and the file size barely changes. That is also why a rotated page keeps its rotation in every PDF reader, unlike the "rotate view" button in a reader, which only turns the page on your screen until you close the file.

Fixing a double-sided scan

Scanning both sides of paper on a sheet-fed scanner often leaves every second page upside down. Open the scan and press "Turn even pages upside down": pages 2, 4, 6 and so on are turned 180° in one click. If the scanner saved the back pages in reverse order, use "Reverse order" or move pages with ← and →. For two separate scans (fronts and backs), join them first with Merge PDF.

Deleting pages

Blank separator pages, a cover sheet you do not want to send, or an extra copy of a page can be removed with ✕. Deleted pages are only left out of the saved copy; your original file is not changed. To keep just a few pages out of a long document, Split PDF with "Extract pages" is faster.

Large PDFs

Previews are drawn one by one after the file opens, so you can start rotating straight away even while the later previews are still loading. A few hundred pages work fine on a computer; on a phone, very large scans may take a while.

Privacy

The previews come from pdf.js (Mozilla's PDF engine) and the file is saved with pdf-lib, both running in your browser. Nothing is uploaded; we count only that a PDF was edited and roughly how many pages it had.
